CONSTRUCTION UPDATES

Saturday, December 3, 2016

I realise the last time I made a construction updates post was back in January early this year. So here's a quick update. Images are taken from the Fb group so credits all my fellow neighbours ! Blocks D and C are starting to get their keys collected. I am hoping the key collection comes as late as end November or early December. So we can have more time to look at IDs and only start work after the Chinese New Year. Does not really make sense to collect keys now and then rush the IDs to complete the renovation works before CNY. Does anyone have any ID to recommend ? Cause honestly speaking, we have not done a single thing yet other than pinning photos onto my Pinterest.

POOR GIRL'S GUIDE TO PENANG

Sunday, October 2, 2016

You would not believe how affordable this getaway was. Everything in Penang is so affordable that it should have been illegal HAHA. I think that only expensive part of the trip was the air tickets.

Total cost

To do a 3D2N in Penang, believe it or not, was under $300. We got our return air tickets from AirAsia for about $200 per pax. We paid about $50 per pax for our AirBnB. And we spent around $30 per pax while being there, living and eating like kings and queens. Oppa and I changed SGD300 to ringgit and was left with a lot of extra ringgit. Oh well, since we go to JB once in a while, I guess it is still not so bad.

What's with Oppa's saranghae handsign at 00.46 though lol. And sorry for my squeaky voice, I am not usually like that haha.

MYTAINTEDWORLD TRAVELS : HONG KONG TRAVEL GUIDE

Wednesday, May 25, 2016

Travelling on holiday to a country for the very first time can be very exciting. You have a whole new adventure waiting for you, but there are two things that many of us would not like - (1) The idea of planning and (2) the feeling of foreignness. You have completely no idea what is awaiting you, how are the people like, how is the culture like and what should you avoid. Which is why I have decided to compile my guide to traveling in Hong Kong based on my own experience. Hope it will shed some light and pre-empt you what to expect when you visit Hong Kong the next time.

MY BBG JOURNEY WEEK ONE

Sunday, May 1, 2016

Exactly a week ago, I embarked on a stringent workout regime and that is none other than the Kayla BBG Workout. I have followed Kayla on her Instagram for the longest time and I have always been inspired by how fit she is. I am not expecting myself to end up looking like her but I guess if I work hard enough, I should have some abs or at the very least, lose some fats and tone up abit.

But before everyone starts slamming me for being a bad influence, I just want to clarify that by my standard and frame, 54kg is considered quite massive and my tummy is indeed at my biggest. The weight may be a norm for many, and there will be people who are heavier than 54 kg and they are healthy. But no, that is not the case for me.

So here are some hideous photos to share before I continue. It took me a lot of courage and many days of hesitation before I finally decide to share:

ONE-DAY JUICE CLEANSE WITH DAILYJUICE

Tuesday, February 23, 2016

I am sipping on my final juice while typing out this entry. I have never been more than timely when it comes to updating this blog. Whatever happened to blogging once/twice a week man. I clocked like 15 posts in January and then the blog just died come February. Ok that aside, I am gonna be talking abit about my thoughts on the cleanse this time round.

OUR ACTUAL WEDDING DAY

Wednesday, January 20, 2016

I know I didn't talk much about my wedding since it happened in December. With the Korea trip happening right after the wedding, I didn't have much time to really sit down and write about the actual day itself. Since I have some time now, let me just share a couple of pictures and our wedding chapter finally comes to an end. Officially becomes even more irrelevant than it already is lol.

It has been a month plus since the wedding, the memories are all so vivid and I am extremely thankful that everything went so smoothly without a hitch ! All thanks to my amazing entourage and vendors who did a beautiful job. Not gonna find much words in this post (as usual) because I think the pictures tell the story of what went on that day so I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do ! And yes, there was as much fun and laughter as what you would be seeing (:

Anyway, my day started at 0630 which was consider pretty late I guess, especially when the husband is Teochew haha. We didn't go for any auspicious timing so the entire day's schedule was pretty much decided by our own.

Shall just let the photos do the talking ! Hopefully I can clear the Korea entries soon so I can move on to other things.

KOREA DEC'15 : GWANGJANG MARKET, EHWA UNIV, HONGDAE, DONGDAEMUN

Saturday, January 9, 2016

Day 4. Weather forecast showed that the average temperature will be around 7 degrees. And if you remembered, Day 3 had us sweating in our coats, so we wore a little thinner today. But I guess you all know what happened to us.. We were freezing our assess and fingers off the entire day.

KOREA DEC'15 : MUNJEONG RODEO, COEX MALL, ALIVE MUSEUM, INSADONG.

Monday, January 4, 2016

Day 3 and the weather will be -7 degrees in the afternoon according to the weather forecast. So we loaded up and made many indoor plans like afternoon shopping and all. End up the weather felt like its 10 degrees and we were kinda sweating in our coats.

KOREA DEC'15 : GYEONGBOKGONG, SAMGYETANG, 9 LEVEL SEAFOOD

Saturday, January 2, 2016

Here is my second post on my Seoul trip ! This was Day 2. Woke up slightly late, rushed our breakfast at the hotel a little before heading down to Gyeongbokgong Palace for some good old sight seeing ! I have always loved to watch shows from this era and am always amazed by their histories and architectures.

KOREA DEC'15 : NAMSAN TOWER, MYEONGDONG

Friday, January 1, 2016

ANNYEONG ! Haven’t been updating this space frequent enough but today I will be sharing visuals from my recent winter mini-moon in Korea ! I’ve decided to split the days up so this is part 1. 7 more to come !

First things first, Flight. We booked our flight like a year before the trip so it was really cheap. We had like SQ direct flights for approximately SGD 700+ per pax. True enough SQ never fails. The flight was pleasant with no major hiccups for me. The food tasted fine and good, there is basically nothing to complain about our main airline.
